I've seen people compare this to the torture scene in Marathon Man, but to me it's more like the scene with the sadist dentist and masochist patient in the Little Shop Of Horrors.bjmdds wrote: Watching this film is more painful than this scene's content This is what Broccoli prefers over gadgets and beautiful women and sci/fi plots? ............[stroking a white cat] "Franz Oberhauser died twenty years ago, James. I don't even know why you are here Trolly(but maybe your name says it all). Obviously you love Craig so I don't know what are you doing on THIS forum. Go talk about "marvelous" Craig somehwere else.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that this forum is called 'Classic Bond Forum'. Not 'Daniel Craig Hate Club'.
As for the "slash my wrists", comment; Daniel Craig has already addressed that, in a more recent interview and backtracked on it. Although, I knew myself, at the time, back then; his remarks were simply said in jest. However, other people, such as yourself, who are clearly hard of thinking, did not grasp that.
He told the BBC (link provided below): "I'm quite straightforward and I say things when I feel it and then I change my mind". "I'm just like everybody else. People latch onto things. There's not a lot I can do about that."
Yes, Daniel they do indeed, don't they!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-34603708
So Veronica, you're obviously not very well informed about what you're talking about, darling. It doesn't matter though, because there are evidently; plenty more so called Bond fans in this forum, who talk utter garbage, just like you.
xxx
Pardon me Trolly, I think you'll find the site is called the Daniel Craig is not Bond.com Presents the Classic Bond Forum. You'll notice there is no picture of Craig in the Bond Banner at the top. The founding premise of the site being a shared belief that Craig is a terrible Bond, and what went before was "classic". That founding premise intended to be the idea behind why one would seek to join this particular site and supposed to be a unifying thread for the members of this site . So to Veronica, fair comment.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Now that EON and MGM realize that Cr-egg's 4th film was NOT what they expected at the box office, they can spin it any way they like, but this will wind up at least a "quarter of a billion dollars behind" Mendes' first film, yet it cost more to produce and market. Broccoli is in love with the ogre. Broccoli probably does not want WB as a partner since Sony does whatever she wants. Where will this go?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Where it goes depends on a few things, but essentially, they are losing money with this movie and that's the only thing that matters. Sony is in complete chaos and people are leaving left and right, and it's impossible to forecast what is next. I would think WB will in the end take over and that will mean a definite change... either way even if Sony stayed, Pascal is gone so Babs is done regardless, at least as far as her crazy plans are concerned.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
What is the P&A expense for ECH-TRE? $100 million? $150 million? It wraps up this weekend in Japan so there should be an actual total revealed by SONY/EON/MGM, or do they fudge the numbers and hide the truth? If they received $100 million in product placement, that cut their outlay from $350 million total production budget to $250 million. If you add on the P&A, it comes to at least $350 million required to get it to the screens so at 50% from the USA, 40% overseas, and 25% from China, I estimate they received $310 million so far in box office return from the ticket purchases.

Hell Bent, the final episode of Doctor Who‘s regular 9th season, grabbed a 21.5 share in the 8PM slot on BBC One Saturday night. While early overnight viewing figures put it at 4.8M, the numbers were slightly inflated by a runover of Strictly Come Dancing which was the top program of the day, according to Doctor Who News. When the precise timing is taken into account, Hell Bent is expected to drop to 4.47M. This is the official finale of Season 9 ahead of the Christmas episode (see trailer below) which brings back Alex Kingston as River Song.
