NM looks to be more realistic and grittier than any of the Bonds Pierce did. That being said, Pierce himself wanted to do a gritter and realistic Bond but never had the chance thanks to Babs The SOB. Plus, he was never a fan of his Bonds after GE.

It comes out in November too to play up the title. Maybe Pierce will be known as the November Man from here on in at the box office. TMOS tumbled down to 7th place Thursday in the USA. It's legs are starting to wobble.

So I went to the ArcLight movie theater(the first one not in the L.A. area though they are soon expanding nationwide-to Bethesda Maryland) and before the movie they were playing music, some of it kind of Muzak-type stuff but I recognized one of the songs they played as being from the Casino Royale soundtrack!I thought that was rather random!

Also:for anyone in the New York area, Mads Mikkelsen is doing a special Q&A event for his new movie The Hunt at the Apple store in Soho on July 11th at 7 P.M.You have to reserve a place;if you go to the Soho store's webpage you can see where to do so.
I have no time for No Time To Die

That doesn't mean it will bore us to death like TDK/Bourne movies and their clones. FYEO was realistic, or should I say "down the earth", but it still kept in touch with Classic Bond.

TMOS has a legitimate shot at passing Sk-Awful's final total at the box office in the USA. It's $30 million ahead of Sk-Awful after 22 days in the USA. That would be nice :!:

No, it won't bore us to death. And do you think it will get better than this since we are talking about action flicks here?

This weekends BO report "Bombs Away"
Lone Ranger crashed and burned in a manner worthy of a Craig film. The group I was planing to see it with didn't go to it but still might only to see the background since it is was filmed near by. No surprise it was not well received nobody was asking for a reboot, remake of a series that was popular 80 years ago, they've tried to revive the show in the 2000s and nobody cared then so why would a $250 + P&A movie be the answer?!

1) Despicable Me 2 Uni. $82,518,000 Total: $142,076,000
2) The Lone Ranger BV $29,432,000 Total: $48,936,000
3) The Heat Fox $25,000,000 Total: $86,398,000
4) Monsters University BV $19,590,000 Total: $216,127,000
5) World War Z Par. $18,200,000 Total: $158,758,000
6) White House Down Sony $13,500,000 Total: $50,478,000
7) Man of Steel WB $11,415,000 Total: $271,206,000
8) Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain LG/S $10,100,000 Total: $17,460,000
9) This is the End Sony $5,800,000 Total: $85,554,000
10) Now You See Me LG/S $2,770,000 -Total: $110,415,000
11) Star Trek Into Darkness Par. $1,310,000 Total: $223,065,000
12) Fast & Furious 6 Uni. $1,024,000 Total: $235,439,000

I say give Sheamus traditional Bond girls since that's what EON did with DC's Bonds (except Eve) or will do.

They havn't given Cr-egg any traditional Bond girls., Unless we are talking Looks, as then they have, mostly, with the exception of Mommy Dearest (not going there) or Eve, been Traditional, But i'm talking Persona's here. anyway, here is what he has had.

Note, I include Bloodstone and Reloaded in this list as Virtua-Craig has a different, more professional, personality, thanks to Bruce Fierstein, wich is far closer to a classic bond, hence i sometimes use the name, Bond, only using virtua-craig to describe his 3d model in the Quake-II/III (wii/reloaded)-the club (bloodstone) engines used.

1. Vespyr Lynd: a Stroppy, Insubordinate, Femynazi Cow and Traitress.(id have shot her in the head on the train for Insubordination and being a threat to the mission)

2. Strawberry Fields: would be traditional, if she wasnt CLEARLY below THE AGE OF CONSENT! (also, seems Blahnd "did a solitaire"...AGAIN)

3. Camille. Tough Strumpet, no redeeming features for a female. very Pro however, A true man trapped in a womans Body. if not for the Rational, but pathetic, fear of fire. ( a real waste of Olga Kurylenko, however, it looks like November Man will use her properly as Peirce has taken a Fatherly liking to her)

4. Evangaline "Eve" m--no. i cant say it. Really Pleaseant Personality, actually Likeable!, But Completely Incompetant, would have made a nice replacement for Robinson if she wasnt called moneypenny and was played by a better actress, and had better feild skills (think an Afro Carribean Joanna Dark (n64 one), and you are there with what id have liked to have seen).

5. Severine: tragic, abused, and worse RAPED by crag (intentional spelling error), in a scene that now makes me rank him as a bigger villain then Claude Villain (who ate a Mans Heart!), and then ensures she gets her head blown off. (i cant say what i think of crag for this without nuking the censor-bot)

6. Mommy Dearest. the less said about this the better. (seriously, PandWandLandH.. discuss your messed up childhoods with a Psychiatrist, not a screenplay)

7. new Natalya Simonova, Not Traditional, as she clearly has some form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, probably Asperger Syndrome, but Completely Adorable, (i also respect bond actually respecting her virginity in the end), sweet, innocent (look at the way she kisses virtual-craig in the final cutscene, clearly her first time...), fighty but in a nice way (like a child not wanting to miss out), super intelligent, and very clumsy (if you look at her in the final mission, its clear she still cant even tie her bootlaces herself (ok, this is very hard to see as they dont render due to the outdated technical limits of the Quake III engine used in Reloaded (the even older Quake II engine was used on the wii version, hence the very low model quality), but the section of lace that does render is clearly undone, her original Eurocom concept art (before the game was passed to Treyarch to make it "more like call of duty", despite retaining the eurocom name for developer) shows her with very long, tangled, laces for that level costume, also, she gains a long, flapping set if you run her model in the more advanced, and less outdated, quake 4 engine reloaded was supposed to use, wich is quake III model compatible, wich might explain why she tumbles several times in the final level) poor lass), she even messes up with the p-99, she only says she knows how to use it to stop Bond worrying, ok, she is better at cocking it than him (uses the slide rather than the release, wich tends to make a p-99 slamfire, always use the slide!)..but notice she doesnt know how to take of the safety catch?, and its not the usual activision rendering error, as the 3rd person p-99 model used by virtua-craig has it rendered with the catch off!.., ok, fine, i fell for her a bit, first time ever with a "bond girl", ok? shame the game she was in, well, SUCKED. (COD: Goldenfail Crag Edition)

8. Naomi Hunter,. Another Bleeding Traitress, made worse because she was actually Likeable! unlike vespyr. Would have been Traditional if not a Traitress (her game sucked too, Uncharted:Failstone Crag Edition).

have i missed any?

Nope. No Traditionals yet.
God Save The Queen.

an abysmal number considering the film's $250 million production budget and a worldwide marketing spend in the neighborhood of $175 million, the norm these days for many summer event pics.

Given its poor opening and stiff July competition, box office experts now calculate that Lone Ranger will reach only $125 million domestically, if that. Overseas, it may earn $150 million for a worldwide total of $275 million. In 2011, Disney was forced to take a $200 million write-down when the ill-fated John Carter -- costing more than $250 million to produce -- topped out at $282 million worldwide. (Disney should fare a bit better on Lone Ranger because it will do better domestically than John Carter's $73 million, and the studio receives a higher percentage of revenue from domestic theaters than it does from international theaters.)
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/d ... ead-581503
So the Lone Ranger cost $425 million, how is it they figure Disney will only lose $100-150 million??
Well at least it proved what we've been saying for years about the hidden advertising costs of movies.
