Contrary to what I've said in the past, I now suspect SPECTRE may be Craig's last "Bond" film, whatever his contract says. Change is in the air, and MGM may want to start afresh. But I suppose a lot depends on the critical and audience reaction to the film. If the consensus is that it is a disappointment after the "great" Skyfall, and/or that Craig is starting to look old and tired, he's gone.

Like Dalton (this is the only time i'll compare him favourably with Dalton), I couldn't imagine Craig doing any more than 4. 3 for his contract and one more for the road. But given Craig's career outside of Bond, from an objective viewpoint, he'd be a fool to leave now.

If DC go, Babs should go as well.

That website won't fly Toothpaste as Cavill would be a welcomed replacement for Cr-egg. If it ever became a website, I doubt it would get much attention as Cr-egg's disgraceful selection did, after his bedroom escapades with Broccoli.

Cavill wouldn't be that welcome, not by me, and not by anyone outside this forum. Giving us one miscast Bond after another would to do nothing for my under threat interest in the series. Dominic Cooper is the way to go, imho. 'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond' was practically Cooper's audition. He had the look, and he had all the right qualities.

I think many - probably the vast majority - cinemagoers outside this forum would love Cavill as Bond.

He has the right look but I doubt he'll have the time. With superman . Cooper could work but I don't have faith in eon casting a good choice .

I think he would be the number 1 choice if a poll was done for who the 7th 007 should be after Cr-egg gets fired and becomes a burnt out drunk, with no other acting prospects, and a wife who will probably leave him at some point once Bond is done, when he is no longer recognized by any Hollywood producers as a viable entity.

MGM needs to do the choosing with Broccoli acquiescing to their desires.

Sorry I haven't been around much but I was on a cruise, and I just haven't had the time to sit down and talk about what's been going on. Primarily Amy Pascal

To say I am happy that she is gone would be an understatement. When I heard the news, my first thought(which was probably a lot of people's) was "about freaking time!"

I'm not so sure. His Superman schedule is as follows:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: March 2016
Justice League, Part 1: November 2017
Justice League, Part 2: 2019

That's only three films in the next four years. I'm sure he could squeeze a Bond pic in here and there, particularly given how long it takes for them to write and actually start production these days. Spectre will only be Craig's fourth in nine years. Connery made six in nine years with one by Lazenby in between! Geez EON, pick up your game eh...

Outside of this forum, I have not seen anyone champion Cavill. Most are happy with Craig continuing. Those that are ready for a new Bond, are suggesting names like Jack Davenport, Jack Huston, Dan Stevens, and Idris Elba etc...

I know that feeling. I am not against a blonde actor, if said actor could exude the required qualities for Bond. But having seen him in Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond, Cooper is my #1 choice.

This is not Bond IMO. He is playing Fleming, a would be Bond, but as an actual ruthless spy? The new Moneypenny looks like she could kick his rear end. As Q, definitely. What say all of yee?
