It was TOMORROW NEVER DIES, and given that the role was for Paris, she would have been wasted in it anyway.bjamesobrad wrote:wasn't Brosnan pushing to cast Bellushi for TWINE?

Really, BJ? I can understand your hatred for Craig, but the rest of the cast? That's stubborn. Once again you show yourself to be predisposed to hating anything that has anything to do with Craig's films, regardless of whether there's any genuine good in them. Would I be correct in assuming that had Henry Cavill been cast, it would color your perception of SPECTRE in a very positive light?bjmdds wrote:The car is more appealing than this entire cast of chosen actors.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
There is no point in any of this rubbish until the crumb leaves the role. Once his acting stench has been fumigated from the script, we can get down to basics. Adding former WWE wrestlers to the cast won't enhance Cr-egg's role. With me, it's just like the owner's of the franchise's motto, EVERYTHING OR NOTHING. Once Cr-egg goes, assuming Broccoli does not change Bond's ethnicity, a positive agenda might follow, but that remains to be seen. One bad apple DOES spoil a whole bunch According to the film studio, the plot will see "a cryptic message from Bond's past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. "While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre."

Now THAT would be good. Sony is having leaks left and right and like you said the system is so messed up that they'll be an open book for years at this point... LOL. Did you see earlier today that someone leaked James Franco and Seth Rogen, among other things? LOLOmega wrote:I wonder if the Sony hackers will release sp (spectre) movie or script early.
Let me tell you this Sony system is so throughly f'ed they will be an open book to whoever knows where to look for years.
The only way to resecure their system is to start fresh scrapping the old completely. Not practical so they will be an easy target for a long long time. Probable should have paid up but these guys still screw them over and their system would still be compromised.
What would be cool is if some internal bond documents were released.

That is the story, directly from Bloomberg as opposed to stupid gossip or entertainment sites. Bloomberg broke the story yesterday... but the entertainment lazies of course got to it today. It's hilarious and they explicitly say there's more. I am curious to see if they reveal Bond stuff because THAT would be incredibly interesting. For reasons.
Shaken not stirred, you crack me up with your comments on Bond! BEST OF LUCK with the new job, fingers crossed for you!!
I am in full agreement with BJ, one bad apple DOES spoil the whole bunch, especially when the bad apple is the leading man. No Bond, no rest. That said, I have already expressed how I feel about Monica Bellucci, and that's got precious nothing to do with Craig. She is a bimbo and she's terrible at acting. She sure has Bond girl looks. But she is also 50. I guess they are picking more age appropriate people for Craig, especially given how much older than his age he looks. Her dress was HORRENDOUS. I can't believe an Italian would pick something so incredibly AWFUL to present a movie. WE are the country of fashion and style and THAT is how she shows up???

There hasn't been a script leak since CASINO ROYALE's because EON made it a policy afterwards to put drafts into the shredder. This explains why the original script for BOND 22 has never surfaced in any fashion.

I never heard of this actress Ale. Where did they dig up this "bimbo" then and why would they utilize her? She seems to have a soft core porn image on the internet searches and at age 50, maybe she could be cast as Blofeld's wife instead of Cr-egg's love interest.Alessandra wrote:Now THAT would be good. So they're REALLY going the Blofeld route? disappointed, TBH. Even a good cast(Christoph Waltz! Hans freakin Landa!) can't save this.

You said it MP. This has "been there, done that" written all over it. A 50 year old bimbo, a MI:4 copycat actress, a boyish Q, and a former wrestler won't amount to anything new for the minions to watch. Broccoli has screwed up the space-time continuum now to irreparable levels of disbelief.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Up late waiting for the Motrin to kick in(a story for another time..) but I was thinking about Bond 24....So the chatter/speculations is that Belucci's character is going to be a Tracy expy, leading into the plot for Bond 25. And I heard not one, but quite a few, people say this. Could it be?Are they really veering that far from canon? I mean, not that I really care, but it just seems odd to me.

Knowing EON the twist will probably be that Monica Bellucci is Blofeld.

I saw it opening weekend and it was quite OK a film so try it. I felt the reviews were too harsh. Read our reviews on the threads posted on this website. The Sweeney wrote:Not yet BJ. Apparently someone(something?) from Bond's past comes into play. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull some "Luke I am your father" sh!t on us.Which would be scraping the barrel even further.007 wrote:Knowing EON the twist will probably be that Monica Bellucci is Blofeld.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Variety:The group, whose name stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, is led by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, a German genius with aspirations of world domination whose agents work in secret to gain influence and secrets.
In Marvel's universe, there's Hydra, a malicious group founded by the evil German Nazi, Red Skull, who has the same goal of world domination, infiltrating governments and pulling strings behind the scenes.
Since Marvel Studios started producing its own films and TV shows, Hydra has served as a heavy in "Captain America," "The Avengers" and on ABC's "Agents of SHIELD."
It's hard not to ignore the timing of the decision to re-introduce SPECTRE on the bigscreen.
"Spectre" will bow the same year that "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is released, with the Bond film out in November, and Marvel's Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye reuniting again in May.
The casting of Dave Bautista as henchman Mr. Hinx in "Spectre" also adds an actor who recently played tattooed beast Drax the Destroyer in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," a film that broke out as a blockbuster and will get a sequel in 2017, after it earned $771 million. In "Quantum of Solace," Quantum is the name of the shadowy org in that film with a similar mission to SPECTRE. However, EON wasn't able to use the name until it settled a lengthy legal tussle with Kevin McClory, which wound up giving Danjaq and MGM the full copyright rights to Blofeld and SPECTRE on Nov. 15, 2013. "Quantum" was released in 2008.
MGM and EON can't be faulted for wanting to go back to something that worked so well for the franchise in the past -- and is paying off handsomely for Marvel now".............(FBF, now we know what Broccoli is up to. Your thoughts on her tactics?)
