Clinton Foundation to Keep Harvey Weinstein’s $250,000 Donation  :cuss: Blowfeld, does your stabbing anger now apply to this piece of filth too? http://www.aim.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Hillary-Clinton.jpg I am not as enraged with an old lady as all of that. Poor dear had trouble keepin...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
The Weinstein investigation has moved to this side of the Atlantic. One of my adolescent crushes, the British actress Lysette Anthony, has alleged that he raped her. I met her briefly once, at the stage door of a play I saw her in at the Bristol Old Vic, so that brings it somewhat closer to home. T...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Does that impeachment count for anything since the senate let him go so the feminist Bond producers could include inappropriate Bond jokes in TWINE? Was that the reason? Wow, I never realised the Bond films were that influential ;) Also the reason CNN started doing real reporting and American Spy A...

Clinton was impeached, Weinstein is under police investigation. When will Trump suffer any consequences for his pussy-grabbing exploits? Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I'm sure the 300+ movies that Weinstein produced created a lot of jobs too. And Bill Clinton presided over an economic boom. Does that excuse their predatory behaviour too? If not, why not? I had a destain for Harvey Weinstein since 2007 when he threatened Maury Chaykin (Nero Wolfe 2000-2002) of hi...

My guess for the next Bond movie plot: BloodBrothers (or Never Dye Again Tomorrow: This Time It's Personal!) Jimmy Bond retired for the fifth time in as many movies is living fat off the land, his job is Trolley Sheppard at the local Tesco. A little winded as he collects a wandering trolley threaten...

Just got a new iPad(my laptop which is more than 5 years old) was too expensive to fix.) My iPad Air died a few weeks ago, suppose it was fairly old since it was the model before the fingerprint scanner was part of the kit. One evening as it was beside me on the arm of the chair there was an audibl...

Re: Stephen King
I Have not read Steven King novels in a very long time. Personally I thought his short stories were his better efforts, however I usually enjoy voluminous tomes, something to look forward to at the end of the day. Go through withdrawal when I hit the end of a good series.

While, in many ways that Craig killed the franchise for some on this board his impact on the franchise is undeniable. We had Die Another Day love Brosnan or hate him it was a over the top fiasco in a time where The Bourne Identity was showing that a dark gritty spy movie could work. Craig came in w...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I was thinking the exact same thing! There is sort of a best and worst case with all the actors when talking about their films. With Connery he's ether the benchmark all others are compared to, or a sexiest fiend worthy of being burned at the stake, depending on what rag your reading. Lazenby is to...

Tim Robey/independent.ie--August 5 2017------Comment: Why Daniel Craig should not play Bond again---The ‘novelty’ value of appointing a new face to the iconic role of James Bond is the biggest threat to Daniel Craig’s tenureship, writes Tim Robey. If he is kept on though, don’t viewers deserve to s...

Raymond Benson never spoke to the Mirror. I know nothing of this, but as I ha...

We'll see . I expect him to return until he's replaced I don't get why they wouldn't say he was coming back if it was a done deal. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I've seen the trailer and I was vaguely aware of the French comic it is based on. It's the new SF film from Luc Besson. The Fifth Element was a bit of a curate's egg, IMO, and I'm sure that this will be no different. I know the series as Valerian and Laureline. It was a very cool Doctor Who meets M...

True. It was meant to be reassuring except for other word was gender related. It plays well with activist who were not already Doctor Who fans, the BBC wanted a victory lap to show how open minded they are now. The BBC decided to be smug and it may come back to bite them. That wasn't how I saw it, ...

I am a fan of Jodie. I am not a fan of heads of the BBC who will ruin a good thing when they find it politically convenient.
