Re: SPECTRE box office
Has Spectre had an average/normal box office take? I think Skyfall made more money than usual for Bond?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I saw there were discussion about Rocky above. I love the films. Rocky III is my favourite with Mr T as Clubber Lang. Rocky IV is very weird. Rocky fights a Soviet Union boxer (Dolph Lundgren) in Russia on Christmas day.

Re: Craig:"I’d Rather Slash My Wrists" Than Do Another Bond
Daniel Craig does not have good PR skills. Also he hates making James Bond films. If he had some other well paying film parts he would have just made two or three James Bond films.

Re: Dirty Benny's Weekly Rant
There seems to be quite a bit of talk in regards to Craig's successor, almost as if people are in a hurry to get rid of him. I don't remember there ever being this much talk about replacing Brosnan. As for the whole "complexity" thing, it's all fluff to cover up for the ridiculous script. I've been...

The sixties is classic but I have a soft spot for the eighties.

Re: The Early 1970s Era
LALD and TMWTGG are very memorable with Scaramaga's island, the crocodile jump and soforth.Count_Lippe
These three Bond films also don't have the scope and grandness of the Bonds of the mid to late 1960s. LALD and TMWTGG weren't even shot in scope, making them look even smaller.

Looks like it is not a prequel series anymore.dirtybenny
If it’s true Tanner commits suicide at the end of SP what does that mean for the earlier films in which he appears?

Spectre is a dull tiltle. I thought Bond films had a strange title/phrase like the ones Ian Fleming used for his novels. Is Bond 25 going to be called James Bond?

Re: Craig Facelift?
Daniel Craig looked craggy when he first started out as Bond. In Skyfall his aged look was praised as showing depth of character. I think Daniel Craig does not have the Bond look, like everyone here. But he can turn up looking like he wants as his fans stil like him.

Re: Dirty Benny's Weekly Rant
They scrapped the James Bond series, invented a new spy series with Daniel Craig, but pretend that the new series it is a continuation of the decades old James Bond series.
That annoys me. Why not just launch a new series with Daniel Craig's spy character and continue making James Bond films?
