It sounds like she doesn't want to rule it out, but the fact that they haven't officially announced it yet suggests that it isn't a done deal. I don't know what the hold-up is, but something must be delaying the announcement.

Re: John Barry Thread
I think that in this age of endless reboots and cinematic multiverses, audiences will be able to grasp that the next Bond film will not follow on directly from NTTD, just as they understood that Joaquin Phoenix's Joker was not Jared Leto's Joker or Heath Ledger's Joker.

Re: John Barry Thread
The DC Bonds were an alternate timeline, like Never Say Never Again. The series traces this alternate Bond's career from his first kill to his death. It contradicts events in the previous series, like his first meeting with Felix, and Blofeld being his foster brother. I don't know what they will do ...

Re: President Trump
This should probably go in the President Biden thread, but since it's been discussed in this one, here's a current article from a Democrat-supporting publication openly calling for Biden's removal as candidate: https://www.yahoo.com/news/democrats-jo ... 02644.html

Re: John Barry Thread
Craig's version of Bond died in the last one, but the end credits contained the usual "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN". They will just reboot with a new actor. Eventually.

Re: John Barry Thread
I think we're all kind of in limbo at the moment. Craig is gone, but not really. He's still officially Bond until the next guy is announced, which is why we think poor, lovelorn Babbzy is so reluctant to choose a replacement. What happens next largely depends on who the replacement is. If it's a cho...

Re: John Barry Thread
We had a big forum crash once, and we did say that if it ever happened again, and didn't fix itself in a few days like it did last time, we would migrate en masse to Alternative 007. That seems to be the forum that's least hostile to anti-Craig points of view.

The domain name is paid for up until next autumn, I think. I don't know who by, though, it is anonymised. I do seem to spend an awful lot of time these days disapproving spam posts, many of which are written in Cyrillic script.

This piece of music was composed by Barry for the OHMSS score, but was never used in the film. You recognise the OHMSS sound. Nice song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuC1mw3iVIM You can't embed videos in posts any longer? It doesn't seem to work now. :? It works better in Tapatalk than in the br...

Re: President Trump
There will eventually be a democrat version trump candidate some day if that party ever stops rigging primaries. That's precisely why the Dems won't ever stop rigging their primaries. They actually boast that the party establishment's grip is too strong to allow a populist candidate through. Any De...

Re: President Trump
Well, I saw lots of Democrats begging Biden not to run. They didn't come right out with it as bluntly as Psaki, but fears that he could drop dead at any minute were certainly not far from the surface.

Re: Box office thread
The marketing campaign didn't mention that it was based on a TV show, presumably knowing that it doesn't have much brand recognition nowadays. I guess the thinking was that pairing Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, both A-list stars, in a fun action comedy would be the draw. It does seem to have been we...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
On Rotten Tomatoes, "Goldfinger" currently sits at a 99% critic score. That makes it the highest-rated James Bond movie on the website. The critical consensus reads: "'Goldfinger' is where James Bond as we know him comes into focus — it features one of 007's most famous lines ('A martini. Shaken, n...

Godzilla x Kong and Civil War are the only two movies I'm familiar with out of those five. I know Abigail is about a vampire, but only because you told me.
