Daniel Craig is supposed to be doing an interview for an event called Beyond Bond at the start of October in New York. He's bound to be asked if he's doing the next film so it will interesting to see what his reply is.

What's with all the Affleck hate? Can't say he's my favourite actor but he's a much better fit for a playboy millionaire than Craig is for a suave secret agent. Most people thought Affleck was the best thing about B v S.

If Barbara likes Fassbender so much she should have hired him instead of Craig.

Turner was asked about Bond again the other day and said he prefers not to comment. Might be the best approach to take. Going back to Jack Huston, I read that he did a play with Barbara Broccoli. That probably explains why the bookmakers are keeping his odds short.

I think he was mentioned as one of the actors they thought about when they were replacing Brosnan in 2005. He'll be about 46 by the time the next Bond film comes out so too old now to be in the frame.

If Barbara really did give Jamie Bell an audition then we're in big trouble. Don't see Hiddleston as Bond but he'd make a good Ian Fleming.

I think with the right hairstyle and proper attitude, he CAN DEFINITELY be much better than Craig. As I said, for me Bond is Henry Cavill and him only. Craig is bored with the role and his salary would eat into a big chunk of the budget. It doesn't make any sense to get him back. The hoopla surrounding a new Bond would make 25 more of an event than an aged Daniel Craig sleepwalking through what would presumably be his farewell film.

It could work to Rupert Friend's advantage that he's flying under the radar of next Bond speculation and names bandied around.

It can't be any worse than Star Trek Into Darkness. They appear to be going for a Guardians of the Galaxy atmosphere with that trailer.
