Re: Roger Moore 1927-2017
When I was in grade school playing on the playground Roger Moore was our Bond I think CBS just played the recent Bond movie before the next was released we were all reenacting parts we could remember the car going under water the gadgets stuff like this. He was still our Bond when Dalton get the rol...

RIP Gene Wilder: http://variety.com/2016/film/news/gene-wilder-dead-dies-willie-wonka-young-frankenstein-1201846745/ RIP. He was my the actor that impacted my early life the most. Between Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka, and Blazing Saddles he was a very important part of my childhood. May God rest...

Re: Breaking News Thread
He was great in Galaxy Quest too. Dogma too. Sad, sad day. Alan Rickman and Roger Rees were two of my favorite actors growing up. Coincidence they were both sheriffs of Nottingham in Robin Hood movies. Roger Rees I never saw in Cheers it was MANTIS and Mel Brooks where I found him first it was a tr...

Re: President Trump?
The only way I see the establishment avoiding Trump nominee is if he fails at the ballot box if there is any reasonable expectation of a Trump nomination they will be too scared of the fallout to dare. I suppose it depends on what they're more scared of - their own base, or a presidential candidate...

Re: President Trump?
Do you think that if the party rank and file chooses Trump as the nominee, the GOP establishment would organise some sort of coup to replace him with someone more acceptable (to them)? And if that were to happen, do you think he'd run as an independent? The only way I see the establishment avoiding...

Re: President Trump?
Hello No :!: Have you been busy the past 6 weeks? Are you voting for Hillary instead? Trump will easily get the nomination after Iowa passes. Trump can do no worse than the current bums that created the mess the USA has been in for the past 20 years. He might even pleasantly surprise you. Outsiders...

Re: President Trump?
Oh my god! Are people going crazy to consider Trump seriously for president? I'd would like to apologize to DC comics was openly mocking the president Luthor story. When Trump first pulled ahead in the poll I seriously thought he bought the poll results, eventually it was clear he was not buying the...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I noticed a curious thing in the public perception of Bond, listing to satellite radio they were talking about Christoph Waltz being singed up for two more Bond movies great they said but who's going to be Bond? I think people are ready for a new actor long before they were tired of Brosnan. Also he...

Not a nightmare but we locked out keys in our car when we were away visiting. Luckily we were not blocking the drive and we were already staying the night, we got a locksmith the next business day.

Re: SPECTRE Theme Song
That song is awful. It will never reach the Adele fame or Madonna both are played on Sirius radio often. How could anyone in charge have listened to this song and though yes this is the one. The man has talent the song is garbage, except her Bond song was a lot better. Is David Arnold back? I know s...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Terminator Genisys has risen above Magic Mike XXL to secure third place with an estimated 3-day of $27.3M and a 5-day of $42.8M. That’s not a strong opening for a film the studio is saying cost $155M. Outside of the original 1984 Terminator, Genisys will post the lowest 3-day and 5-day figures of t...

And now the Dukes of hazards are being censored pulled off the air. I tired to find the DVD sets last night and they are sold out online. The show was never about hate or hating people. Our country had devolved in to a dark age like knee-jerk reaction to PC sensibilities. I think it's an overreacti...

I hate to say this I thought he died in the 1990s
Used to watch the Avengers everyday after school. I was disappointed with his Bond character because he was capable of so much.

Re: Dirty Benny's Weekly Rant
I also think TND was better and looks better, and is more like a Bond film should be (although it was mostly a tired rehash of earlier Bonds in terms of story and ideas). GE looks like kitchen sink realism compared to TND, not exactly how a Bond film should be. Could it be that around this time (ea...

Hi katie! :D Your dad grew up north of here, we are in the Carolinas. But we have family all over the south and north. My families history starts with America only in the 20th century, they original moved south because of attitudes toward immigrants. There was a documentary on the Tuskegee airmen ta...

Re: Breaking News Thread
About the confederate flag controversy. Probably belongs in politics, but I just wanted to say I do get why people have a bad reaction to it because of racist who adopted the flag. I understand how the history of slavery in the south lends itself to this. However to me and other southerners it never...
