Re: Sean Connery in TV’s First-Ever Male-To-Male Kissing Sce
I doubt it is the first guy on guy kiss in stage history  It is called acting for a reason do people really believe that every actress who kisses a man on screen actually fancies them. A few do, some are lesbians, some will only ever love their husbands. I don't think it is a incestuous gay ki...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I don't mind Craig and Dench making a commercial about womens rights I have a problem with James Bond and M being used to make essentially a political point. Roger Moore would not have done it.

Re: Sir Roger Moore – English Iconic Actor
What if the Saint hadn't stopped him in 1962? Ian Fleming liked Roger Moore for James Bond they might have gone for him if Connery wasn't an option.

Maybe when Bond is brought back it will be a retro movie set in the sixties since retro has become a trendy techinque.

Is James Bond past his sell-by date?
Found this on a film blg he made a few good points about stopping the series although I think in the plus column the combination of "the Sam Mendes Bond, the Peter Morgan Bond" were a continuation of all that was wrong in Quantum of Solace. The next 007 movie has been cancelled, so should the produc...

Re: Moderators Are Pointless
Moore was a wonderful Bond but remaking every movie since he left like, Moore License to Kill GoldenEye Casino Royale no thank you. Why stop with redoing movies made after he retired why not remake all of them starting with Dr No. Moore on Her Majesty's Secret Service? I don't think so.

Speaking of Mendes he moved on quick. A little too quick maybe? It sounds like he was lining OZ up long before Bond 23 was officially canned.

200 million is too much to spend on a movie even for Bond. Last time they used CGI to good effect was GoldenEye and that was mostly satellites in spacer cgi and fake satellite images, the other FX was good old fashion model work. Back to basics is the way to go. Hope they can do it.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Sean Connery held up production on Goldfinger when his back went out. Amazingly his back was better after signed a deal where he receives 5% of the grosses of each Bond film he starred in. Never knew that. Where on earth do you get all this information from? Do you work in the film industry...

What if Roger Moore had done a Bond TV series instead of making the movies. How different would his Bond be?

Roger Moore broke his leg and kept acting. The old Hollywood stars could grin and bear it seems like all we hear about is every nick and scratch Brosnan and Craig got on stage.

Re: Sam Worthington too famous
He is just a name people recognize for the moment and has a British accent so naturally people thinking of what's for him next say Bond. That's true for most British actors (Hugh Grant? Please.) but this really is not the case for Worthington. He's brought up because he was one of the final four ac...

Sam Worthington is a hot commodity at the moment. I don't think he'll be Bond. He is just a name people recognize for the moment and has a British accent so naturally people thinking of what's for him next say Bond.

Craig's busy trying to learn his lines for his Broadway debut in 7 weeks so I doubt Bond is even on his mind. If he flops on Broadway, he will bring Jackman down with him. Why is Hugh doing this with Broccoli any way? Bond? It could do well just on Jackman's name alone. The play subject soun...

Lenore doesn't like Bond movies at all. I thought it would be curious to see what you guys would say for a response. Re: Is Craig a lame duck Bond?
If these people think traditional Bond films are somehow beneath them & OHMSS was crap, how on earth did they ever become fans of the series in the first place? Because they didn't think traditional Bond films were shite until Craig came along. Now they're all saying "I can't watch any Bond film ma...

Re: Is Craig a lame duck Bond?
If he was not lame duck he was a injured duck when he was entering. What he could do with Bond was extremely limited. They say David Arnold had one armed tied behind his back trying to scratch out that awful Casino Royale sound track. This is precisely what Craig is facing as an actor taking on Jame...
